Safe use

Privacy, money, exams, and the difference between a draft and a decision.

Treat an assistant like a shared taxi: useful, not private.

Do not paste

  • National ID numbers, passport pages, bank or MoMo PINs.
  • A patient’s name next to a diagnosis.
  • A client’s unpublished prices or staff salaries.
  • An exam paper you are not allowed to circulate.

If the work needs those facts, describe the shape (“a 16-digit card number”) instead of the value.

Money

If a reply includes a fee, exchange rate, or “you have won”, assume it is wrong until a primary source says otherwise. Scams already borrow the tone of helpful software.

School and work

Using a model to understand a problem is learning. Submitting its paragraph as yours is a policy problem in most schools and many jobs. Ask the institution. When in doubt, rewrite from notes you made with the screen off.
